Easter is here!

If i was in Singapore, i might not be making an big fuss out of easter, but becos i'm in australia, easter is pretty different. Easter is about the day Jesus rose from the dead and it is widely celebrated in churches in Singapore, but Easter is not a holiday.

Its different here, good friday and easter are both public holidays. Since easter falls on a sunday, monday then becomes a public holiday. For me, its a week of break, sort of like a mid-term break for us to catch up work and assignments lol. Thats the bad part of the break, but look on the bright side, we get to enjoy easter by going out with friends.

Went to the city today, as usual, it was packed with ppl and cars. I honestly dislike driving to the city, like i said before. It has dodgy roads and very bad traffic flow. Adding on to that, parking isnt very cheap there. The best is to park on the roadside which is free, but chances are u wont find one. Ur next best option is to find a flat rate carpark. I think the best flat rate i've parked was $6. Do not park hourly ones, cause its just too expensive, abt $5 an hour.

Aside from that, getting into the city is bad, cause there's a huge jam during peak hours. U can sit in the car for an hr and still have not reach the place, when u're just on St.Kilda road. So if u wanna go to the city, i recommend just taking a train down. Faster and cheaper. Unless, u're planning to go home at 10+pm, then its better to drive due to safety issues.

The test today was alright and after tutorial, 5 of us went to the city for dinner and to watch the movie released today, 17 Again. Maybe in singapore, its a pretty old movie alrdy? Yea, its kinda slow here.
